MiniBOT is built just like a standard industrial robot, but with a few modifications to make it more classroom friendly. MiniBOT has EtherCAT based architecture to enable the changing of server drives and inputs and outputs. MiniBot has a nude body so it is easy to view the mechanical design of the 6 axis articulated robot. It is also built with open software to enable and encourage secondary development and software integration.
